I signed up to KTLN on the recommendation of a British friend who lives [in Kalkan].  He loves it! And now so do I!

Kalkan Turkish Local News - history project PDF Print E-mail
Sunday, 25 April 2010

Kalkan historyThe KTLN team is embarking on a long term project, looking at the history of Kalkan in the 20th century.

Part of our research will involve talking to, and working with like-minded local Kalkan people, some of whom have already gathered alot of interesting stuff.

However we would also like to draw on the knowledge, and experiences of you, the KTLN readers.

This project is all about gathering information, and recording it, before it is lost forever.

It's going to take quite a while to reach a stage where we can publish something, but for now, we are in information gathering mode.

We would be very interested to hear from you if you have any interesting stories, anecdotes, photographs, cine film, sound recordings or artefacts, from Kalkan's recent history.

We are specifically interested in anything between the years 1900 and 2000.

If you would like to help us, please get in touch, by using the Contact Us tab, at the top of this web page.

Anything that you share with us may be published, and by submitting any material to KTLN, you are deemed to be granting permission for us to use it.

Please read our website Terms of Use.
