I always thought there was a need for a website that would convey all the current news, and local information in English to expats, as well as tourists visiting Kalkan, and I think you do it very well.

The KTLN Knowledge Bank is a library of useful information for English speaking people who are visiting Kalkan, property owners or residents.  It is organised in a way which signposts topics in a logical order.  Simply click on Knowledge Bank in the Main Menu and browse the sections and sub-categories to find what you are looking for.

Some articles may display the first few lines only.  Where this is the case simply click on Read more to see the article in full.

It is a constantly updated resource, which aims to provide answers to the most common questions that are likely to be asked.  The Knowledge Bank also includes a useful Business Directory secion, providing contact details for many Kalkan businesses.

In our articles we sometimes refer to Turkish websites as a useful sources of information.  Occasionally we may provide you with a few useful translations to help you with the content, however we would also recommend use of Google Translate where you can type in a web address and get the whole website instantly translated.  It's not perfect by any means, but it can often make a Turkish website readable.  Give it a try.

The Knowledge Bank cannot possibly be a complete oracle, but we have tried to focus on things that may be most useful or of most interest, and we have also tried to ensure there is rigour around the collation of information to ensure a high quality standard.  We do our best, but would draw your attention to the disclaimer contained in our Terms of Use.

We are always very interested to hear from any member who would like to enhance this database by sharing useful information with other KTLN members.  If you have a contribution for the Knowledge Bank database, please Contact Us.
