I like the recipes, the exchange rates, information about local people, events and anything to do with travelling to Turkey is important. And of course, the webcams.

Totally Trivial Turkish Titbits

Totally Trivial Turkish Titbits brings registered members a phalanx of frippery and frivolity; a dossier of delightfully dubious data; an incongruous illumination of interesting information.

New articles will be added from time to time, when interesting snippets come our way.

Your life will be immeasurably richer if you check this out.  Have fun!

TTTT33 - fruit and vegetable seasons in Turkey PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 04 March 2010

Tekasya tomatoesOne of the big plus points of living in Kalkan, is the quality of the fruit and vegetables available in local markets.

It's fresh, it's tasty, and if you know where to look it's cheap.  And what makes it even more special, is that because you don't get certain items all year round, you really look forward to the times when they are available, and savour them even more.

Seasoned shoppers will know what you can buy, at different times of the year, but wouldn't it be handy to have a seasonal guide to Turkish fruit and vegetables?
