Introducing KTLN PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 19 February 2009

Established on 1st April 2009, Kalkan Turkish Local News (KTLN) is an online service for people who visit or live in Kalkan.

KTLN aims to be a valued and respected community facility, providing news, and useful, practical information.  KTLN seeks to work closely with the local community to enhance still further the excellent reputation that Kalkan enjoys, as a friendly and welcoming place.  Also see The KTLN Brand.

Everyone is welcome to submit news articles or useful information for publication.  By learning from the experiences of people who know their way around Kalkan, we aim to create and maintain a website containing high quality, well signposted news and information.

The majority of content is in English, and is therefore aimed at those who come on holiday, as well as those who have bought property or settled here from abroad.  Importantly, in Kalkan there are many Turkish people who can read (and speak) English very well, and we hope that many of them will find this website interesting too.

If there are any non-British ex-pats who would like to join us to develop content that may be useful to other nationals please get in touch. We would love to hear from you.

Full details of what free membership provides are set out under Membership

If you want to read KTLN on your portable device (iPod, iPad, iPhone, Blackberry etc), we have created a view especially for you at www.iKalkan.com. You can read about it here: iKalkan

Please note that we are not responsible for the content of other websites we may take feeds from, including World News and Local News websites.

We would encourage all members to make full use of the services provided on this website.  Make it your website.  Visit us on a regular basis to get your fix of Kalkan and find out what is going on.

If you want to put a KTLN link on your website, please use the following details:

If you would like to contribute in any way to the work of the KLTN, or have accurate and relevant information that could be used on this website, please get in touch by clicking on Contact Us at the top of this page.
