Meet the Kalkan Jandarma - Thursday 28th October PDF Print E-mail

The Kalkan Jandarma would like to meet the foreign residents of Kalkan, to discuss any problems, issues or concerns they may have in relation to local crime, or other matters of law and order.

The meeting is to be held at the Jandarma station in Kalkan, at 3pm on Thursday 28th October. All foreigners are welcome to attend.

Present will be the recently appointed Chief of the Jandarma for the Ka
ş area, Murat Aydın, and also the Commander of the Kalkan Jandarma, Yunus Emre Demirpehlivan. English speaking Jandarma will be there to help with translation.

In order to assist with preparations for the meeting it would be appreciated if you could tell KTLN, if you will be attending. We will pass on numbers.  Drop us an email, or click here to contact us.

Also, if you want to let us have your questions in advance, we can pass on the details. It's not essential to do so, but it may help us get the most out of the meeting if the Jandarma officers have time to consider the issues in advance.

This may also be useful if you don't happen to be in Kalkan this week, but have points or suggestions you would like to be put to the Jandarma.

We would also respectfully suggest that it will be a more productive meeting if it is conducted in a positive atmosphere. So with that in mind, if you do intend to come along, please think about how things can be improved, and have some constructive suggestions, and not just a list of gripes.

We look forward to seeing you there.

The Jandarma station is on Karayolları Sokak - that's the same street as the Belediye office, but right at the other end.
