I think your website is fantastic and I come back frequently to get a Kalkan fix from the webcams.

Kalkan out of season - things to do - places to go PDF Print E-mail

Carmen at AspendosThe main tourist season is over, and it's all gone quiet in Kalkan, except for the odd tac tac of the rock breaking machines.

But Kalkan still has a population of a few thousand, including hundreds of foreigners, who will be looking for interesting things to do over the winter.

And as much as we love Kalkan out of season, it is nice to take a trip out of town now and again, looking for entertainment, culture or simply retail therapy.

KTLN would like to invite people in Kalkan to tell us about any trips or events they are organising over the autumn and winter months.

We are happy to publicise 'What's On Out of Season' in the KTLN What's On Calendar. We may even publish a local news article.

This invitation is to individuals and to local businesses, such as tour operators.

To kick us off, here is a trip we have been told about, which sounds interesting. Termessos Travel is organising an opera and shopping trip to Antalya, which leaves Kalkan on 23rd November.

Full details can be found in the KTLN What's On Calendar. Click here to go straight to details of this trip.

Note: The photo shown above is from a recent trip to Aspendos to see the opera Carmen.
