Here is news of another trip for Kalkan residents, who may fancy a bit of culture, combined with retail therapy.

This trip, organised by Termessos Travel, is to see the Antalya International Piano Festival, on Tuesday 14th December.

The Chopin Evening will be performed by The Antalya State Symphony Orchestra.

Piano Concerto No. 1 in e minor, Op. 11

- Romance - Larghetto

- Rondo – Vivace F. Chopin / Piyano Konçertosu No. 2 fa minor, Op. 21

Piano Concerto No. 2 in f minor, Op. 21

The trip itinery

  • Leaving Kalkan at 9:30a.m. by coach to Antalya
  • Time to explore Antalya’s Old Town in the afternoon
  • B&B and evening meal in the beautiful central Alp Paşa Boutique Hotel
  • Transport to/from the Antalya Cultural Centre and Concert Ticket,
  • Visit to Antalya’s busy Wednesday market in the morning (optional)
  • Visit to Özdilek Shopping Centre in the afternoon leaving about 5p.m.
  • Return transport to Kalkan, arriving 8:30pm approx
  • Alternatively, for non shoppers, spend the day in old Antalya (Kaleiçi) ,or be dropped off at Antalya’s museum and be picked up for return journey

    The cost of this package is 170TL per person
