Skies above Kalkan are not quite as blue as they were last week, and a little rain is starting to fall. In fact, was that thunder we just heard? (Yes, it was). We are just about clinging on to temperatures in the 20s, but not for much longer. There is a chill in the evening air now, and one week from now we can expect to see temperatures drop by as much as 10c. We can't complain. Whilst the UK has been suffering an almighty arctic blast, Kalkan has been basking in a rather pleasant autumnal glow. You can still see people wearing shorts and t-shirts - mostly foreigners, it must be said. Local Turkish people have been wearing jackets for quite a few weeks now. The rest of us will be joining them very shortly! Fascinated by the weather in Kalkan? Read the KTLN Kalkan Guide to Kalkan weather Share |

Oh well, it had to come to an end eventually. It was only a few weeks ago that we were reporting on the Goldilocks Zone, but the weather is now starting to turn.
