I always thought there was a need for a website that would convey all the current news, and local information in English to expats, as well as tourists visiting Kalkan, and I think you do it very well.

Share In our recent roads update, we mentioned that contractors working on the D400 dual carriageway, are using explosives, in order to speed up the excavation work, on the stretch of road heading towards Kışla. According to the Antalya police website, contractors have been granted permission to close the road, for one hour every day, between 16.00 and 17.00, until 18th December. It is not clear whether they will exercise their right to close the road every day, but it is a possibility. Any road closure will affect people travelling between Kalkan and Kaş, and residents of Kışla, Ulugöl and Kömürlük.
