With the harbour calm again, the crane, and local boat owners, set to work on lifting the boats on to the quayside. We are told that all of the boats should be on dry land by the end of today. This year, the crane was unable to come at the usual time, in November, due to work being done at the harbour. This delay left the boats vulnerable to recent stormy seas. Fortunately, the storm damage was minimal, and the tourist boats that we are all familiar with have survived, to see another season. Here are a few photos of the crane at work today.

After the storms experienced over recent days, it was good to see the huge crane arrive yesterday.
