I like the recipes, the exchange rates, information about local people, events and anything to do with travelling to Turkey is important. And of course, the webcams.

Lost letters and parcels? Pop into the PTT PDF Print E-mail

Post Office - PTTThe Kalkan Post Office (PTT) does its best to deliver letters and parcels to residents.

A few people have a PO box number (or in Turkish, a Posta Kutu - PK number), but most people rely on delivery to the door.

However, from time to time, the PTT does have problems locating people, and they end up having to return items, where the addressees cannot be found.

We spoke with the PTT manager recently, and he would encourage you to call in and check with them, if you have not yet received an expected item through the post.

So if you are still waiting for that Christmas card from your favourite Aunty, or a pressie from your best friend, why not pop in to the Post Office, and ask them to have a look.

Out of the main tourist season, they close at 6pm.
