Firnaz Bay development gets green light PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 31 December 2010
ShareThe Gazeteciler Cemiyeti website (Journalist Association), reports that the new 1 / 100,000 'Environmental Master Plan' for the Firnaz Bay area, shows that it may be used for the construction of tourist facilities, including properties such as villas.

The website goes on to say that 1 / 25000 scale Environmental Plans are being prepared for this region, then 1 / 5000 and 1 / 1000 scale zoning plans will be prepared, following which the land may be legally developed.

This can be seen as a green light for property developers.

It is also interesting to note that on the outskirts of Gelemiş (Patara), another green light has been given to developers, to construct up to 400 properties (mostly villas).  We understand that work has already started on the first 60 properties, due to be built this winter.
