Mount NemrutTurkey is such a fascinating country to explore, because of its rich history, cultural heritage, varied and spectacular landscapes, and not forgetting the warmth and friendliness of its people.

A KTLN member has asked us to let you know about a forthcoming trip, to the east of Turkey, which has all these things, plus something extra.

This trip is not for everyone, but if you are into exploring your spiritual side, alternative ‘healing’ therapies, and you would like to make a connection with the ‘earth energies’, which some people believe manifest themselves in historical sites, it may be right up your street.

Where
The trip is based around
Şanlıurfa, on the Turkish Syrian border, and takes in Göbekle Tepe, Harran and Sogmatar, Job’s Cave, the River Euphrates, and the impressive Mount Nemrut.

When
Wednesday 27th April until Thursday 5th May (8 nights).

Cost
£538 per person, based on sharing a double room. (£562 for a single room).

This will include airport transfers, all tour travel, apart from two free days, and all meals, apart from the two free days.

This does not include the cost of site entries, but any charges will be small - maybe £12 in total, for the week.
