They show that the Consumer Prices Index (CPI), has fallen to 4.9%, down from 6.4% in December. This is the lowest rate of inflation seen since July 1970. Many people see this as a vindication of the economic and monetary policies being pursued by the Central Bank of Turkey. Below: CPI chart for Turkey.
