D400 roadworksUpdated 11th February: Just a few things to mention, and photos to share, this month.

Work is progressing along the D400 road towards Kışla, with a significant amount of stone walling already built along what will be a dual carriageway.

There is also some progress on the service road that runs parallel to the D400 - Kışla Caddesi.

Updated 11th February: We asked the Belediye about plans to surface Vatan Caddesi in Kızıltaş.  The work was planned for this winter, however efforts are being prioritised to complete the new service road, mentioned above, which means that work on Vatan Caddesi will have to wait.

It appears as though some work has begun on the new carriageway into town from the traffic lights, down towards Ziraat Bank.

Belediye workers have been seen over recent weeks, undertaking landscaping work adjacent to some main roads - especially near the traffic light junction.
