The fun starts in the morning with the younger ages and builds up to the experienced professionals in the early afternoon. If you would like to go you can make your own way there. KTLN understands there will be transport on the day from Kalkan bus station. However, if you would like someone else to organise things we are aware of a trip being organised by the Kaya restaurant. The Kaya package will cost between 25 & 30 TRY per person, depending on numbers. The price includes transport there and back, a VIP seat and a light lunch with drink (non-alcoholic). You need to be at the Kaya restaurant in time for a 10.30 am departure.If you would like to join this trip you need to book in advance. Please contact Erol at Kaya restaurant on 0546 440 3237. On Sunday 10th May 2009 you can see the annual Olive Oil Wrestling contest in Üzümlü. If you have not been before it's quite a spectacle. Men of all shapes and sizes smothered in olive oil, wearing only leather trousers, grappling with each other, and glistening in the baking sun.
