Motorists in Kalkan will be pleased to know that work is underway to extend and resurface the car park in town, just off the town centre roundabout, behind the old school building.

Kalkan Turkish Local News can report that Belediye workmen have been hard at work preparing the ground for resurfacing, and building new stone walls.

Over recent days, lorries have been delivering sand and gravel, and stone for the walls.

We have not calculated the number of spaces, but it will be possible to park significantly more vehicles.
