There was a daylight procession through town, and an evening dinner party, where more than 100 ladies turned up. And the ladies of Kalkan have yet another party to look forward to this weekend. On Saturday 12th March, starting at 2pm, the Belediye would like to invite all women in Kalkan to the salon underneath the bus station, for food, non-alcoholic drinks, accompanied by a little musical entertainment. It's all free. N.B. Venue changed to somewhere indoors, due to the cold weather. This social event continues the Women's Day theme, and is a chance for ladies from all walks of life to join together and enjoy each other's company.
