| How do you drive from Ohio, USA to Patara? |

However, it is a question that sprang to mind last week as we spotted a monster mobile home tucked down a quiet side road, leading to the sand dunes at Patara. The vehicle had a number plate from Ohio, USA. To find such a large mobile home at the end of a quiet, gravel track, close to Patara beach, was one of the most incongruous things imaginable. KTLN was in Patara, doing a bit of research, when we came across this incredible sight. We are not sure that our photos give you the true scale of its size, but look out for the adults in the background, and also a chair to the right, in the picture below. Below: The monster mobile home, next to a normal sized vehicle. Again, look at the chairs next to the truck!
You wouldn't want to get stuck behind this on the roads around Kalkan. Even with the new D400 dual carriageway, overtaking would be a bit of a squeeze! We wonder how many gallons he gets to the mile? KTLN - your window on Kalkan Turkey. Katie-Ellen |
