Kalkan Turkish Local News is 2 years old today.  Over these last 2 years over 3,450 of you have taken the time to register wth us.  Thanks for that.

Here at KTLN HQ, we have to admit that we do sometimes wonder where our new members keep coming from.

So on our second anniversary, we thought it would be nice to find out, quite literally, where you do come from.  In this month's KTLN poll, we are asking where you currently live.

Don't worry, we don't want your post code; we only want to know the approximate geographical area.  It was impossible to give you choices at county level.  Just go for what sounds like the nearest and most appropriate.

It will be fascinating to see the distribution of Kalkan fans. As far as we know, nobody has done this statistical analysis before.

In the recent KTLN Kalkan annual survey, we discovered that 77% of respondents are from England, so our poll options reflect that fact. 

We know from our own data that KTLN has been viewed in well over 100 countries, however the actual number of viewers not in the UK or Turkey, represents a small percentage - around 7%.

So please take part, and let's see where you are coming from.  Remember, we are asking where you live now - your current home. The poll is open to all - Kalkan visitors and residents.

Previous poll - is swimwear appropriate away from the beach?
In last month's poll, we asked you whether it was appropriate to wear swimwear, away from the beach.

Over 350 of you voted, with a massive 95% taking the view that wearing swimwear away from the beach is inappropriate.

About 3% thought it was OK to walk the streets wearing next to nothing, whilst just under 2% thought it was OK to go into shops and restaurants almost naked.
