The V-GO 1 had remained in Kalkan harbour whilst experts and insurers assessed the damage. Over recent days the gulet was raised partially out of the water using massive air bags and divers worked on temporary repairs to enable the vessel to travel to nearby Kaş for permanent repairs. The gulet finally left Kalkan yesterday (Monday 4th May). Thankfully, nobody was seriously hurt in this incident. Share |

On Tuesday 28th April KTLN brought you the news that a luxury gulet had to make an emergency stop in Kalkan harbour, after hitting rocks in nearby waters.
