If you are not a Turkish football fan, look away now.

This Sunday evening sees the climax of the Turkish Süper Lig - the Turkish equivalent of the English Premiership.

Football is a big deal in Turkey, and even if you are not greatly into the sport, you can't help but notice the excitement that is generated, as the season comes to an end.

With one game left, the league table shows Fenerbahçe in first place, with 79 points, but only on goal difference.  This follows their 6 - 0 trouncing of MKE Ankaragücü last week.

Also on 79 points, in second position, is Trabzonspor.  It's a two horse race for the title, with the rest well behind.

At 20.00 on Sunday evening, Fenerbahçe play Sivasspor (away), whilst Trabzonspor play Kardemir D Ç Karabükspor, (also away).

Whatever happens, you can expect to see and hear plenty at around 21.45 (Turkish time), on Sunday night.  If Fenerbahçe win, their fans will be out on the streets of Kalkan - trust us, you won't be able to miss them. 

On the other hand, Istanbul rivalry being what it is, if they lose, you can be sure that Galatasaray and Beşiktaş fans will be out on the streets, with the biggest outpouring of schadenfreude imaginable.

They will be joined of course, by any local Trabzonspor fans.  Just how many of you are there, in Kalkan?
