Fantastic. It ıs so comprehensıve for local and national news, full of interesting articles, and has great links: a sort of one-stop-sıte for an english-speaking resıdent. And the layout is terrific.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Hatice Bayan presented material supplied by the SHKD (Stray Dogs Protection Association) and the EHD (Homeless Animals Association). There was an interactive slide show, and supporting booklets were handed out at the end, containing further information, quizzes and games. The two classes - one of 7 & 8 year olds, and the other of 13 year olds, were attentive, despite it being the end of the school day. Also there from KAPSA, supporting Hatice, and answering questions, were Maggi and Atilla. It is the first time that KAPSA has given such talks, with professionally prepared materials, (donated free of charge). It is intended to follow this up with more sessions, at Kalkan First School and also, other schools in the area. The education of the next generation in the welfare and treatment of animals has got to be a good thing, and KTLN wishes KAPSA well with this programme of interactive presentations. You can read more about KAPSA at their website www.kapsa.co.ukBelow: Hatice presents, with Maggi running the slide show.
