Some time this month, if current trends continue, Kalkan Turkish Local News (KTLN) will have a membership in excess of 4,000.

We are curious to find out how so many people discovered KTLN.  (All websites love to know how their readers discovered them).

So, in this month's poll, (visible to members, on our home page), we would like to ask how you found out about KTLN. 

Plus, in this article, we also seek your views on another poll we want to run.  See below.

We have been going for just over two years, so for some of you, remembering how you heard about KTLN may be a real test of your memory!

If it helps, we know that around 500 of you watched our original Kalkan Bay webcam, which was online at the end of 2008, before the complete KTLN website was launched on 1st April 2009.

KTLN would like to receive your ideas, in connection with a poll we wish to run in the future.

If you look in the KTLN Business Directory, you wll find well over 500 entries.  Kalkan has lots of restaurants, car hire firms, estate agents, banks and assorted retail shops.

But is there something missing?  Is there a business that Kalkan needs?  Something that we don't currently have, that you would use and could be financially viable.

We would like you to let us know your ideas for what would make a successful new business in Kalkan. 

We will take the best suggestions and put them in a forthcoming poll, and ask KTLN readers what they think.
