Water news: UPDATED MONDAY 13TH JUNE: In the KTLN water update published on 4th June, we told you that there was a supply problem, and that new pumps had been ordered.

At that time, we were told it may take about one week to get supplies back to normal.

Just over a week has passed, and we now have news of when you can expect to see water flowing from your taps.

UPDATE MONDAY 13TH JUNE: On Sunday KTLN was told that the new pumps would be installed on Monday, (today) with water flowing again by Tuesday.  We did say "if everything goes to plan".

Unfortunately, the new pumps did not get delivered yesterday, (Sunday), as expected.  They will be delivered later today, and work will begin on installation tomorrow, (Tuesday).

So the latest estimate we have is that water should begin flowing again on Wednesday, but because it takes time to charge up pressure in the pipes, some users may not get a proper supply until Thursday.
