As you can see from the photos below, a seam joining two pieces of pipe has burst under the pressure of water. When KTLN arrived at the scene this lunch time, workmen were waiting for the water to drain from the pipes, before undertaking repairs. The Belediye advises that the water supply should return on Monday night. UPDATE MONDAY: The Belediye confirmed to KTLN on Monday afternoon, that all is on track for a return of the water later tonight. Below: The burst seam, some 14km from Kalkan.

Water alert - UPDATED MONDAY: The Kalkan water supply has once again been disrupted, due to a burst water main, some 14 km away, between Çayköy and Saklıkent.
