I always thought there was a need for a website that would convey all the current news, and local information in English to expats, as well as tourists visiting Kalkan, and I think you do it very well.

Sadly, your reporter was confined to quarters with a pesky 24 hour bug, (all fine now), so this report is not as detailed as I would have liked. However, thanks to friends, I can bring you some photos from the day. Enjoy! Events included swimming races, sea-kayaking, displays of paragliding, waterskiing and jet-skiing, the 'grab the flag from the end of the oily pole' competition, chase the duck, and the boat race. Below: A couple of guys exiting the greasy pole.
Below: A swimming race.
Below: A proud medal winner!

Below: Swimming after the duck. No ducks were harmed during this event.

KTLN would like to thank Devrim Çelibi and Tracy Creed for allowing us to publish their photos.
