The Kaş Kalkan Art Theatre (Kaş Kalkan Sanat Tiyatrosu), is putting on a show at 2pm on Saturday 23rd May.  It's a comedy performance, lasting no more than an hour, which should appeal to children, but grown ups can come along too!

The performance is taking place at the Vakıf building (aka the Kalkan sports club), which is just uphill from the Tedaş building on Şehitler Caddesi.

Tickets cost 10 TL, with proceeds going towards the fund to renovate children's playgrounds in Kalkan.  Work is already underway, but funds are short, so by coming along you will enable more to be done.  You can get your tickets at Yalı, Adda, Tesko, and Sevil supermarkets, and also the Fener Cafe Bar by Kalkan beach.

There are four performers - Gülşen and Halit, (the drama teachers) and Evrim ( a young lady of 19) and Hüseyin (a boy aged 8).  Characters include a clown and a traditional Turkish character called İbiş.  Whilst the words will be in Turkish, this is mainly a visual comedy performance, so even if your knowledge of Turkish is limited you can enjoy the show.

Light refreshments will be available to purchase.
