I have apartment in Side. I use your site to get a feel of Turkey when I am in the UK. There is nothing like your site in Side.

Post OfficeOn 15th July 2011, the UK Post Office travel insurance policy was revised, with Turkey taken out of Europe and re-classified as 'Rest of the World'.

Travel writer, Simon Calder, wrote in the Independent this week, highlighting this change.  You can read his article by clicking on the link below.

Even if you are visiting a European part of Turkey, for example the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul, the European cover of the new Post Office policy, will not in fact cover you.  Policies issued before 15th July, are not affected.

Some insurers still classify Turkey as Europe.  Do you know what your own travel policy says on this?

According to a recent KTLN poll, 98% of visitors to Kalkan have travel insurance.
