The way in which flight tickets are priced is hard to fathom.

As Winston Churchill himself would have said, "It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma".

We wanted to know how much prices vary, so last month, we asked KTLN members to tell us how much it costs to buy a return flight to/from Turkey.

Here are the results of that poll, based upon the 270 people who took part.

The graph below shows the pricing spread, which we calculate gives an average price of about £241 per person, for a return flight.
