Share A couple of days ago, one KTLN member commented in our Feedback Box, that having just returned from holiday in Kalkan, he was less than impressed with the number of televisions out on the streets of Kalkan town. It started a bit of discussion. So we thought we would ask all KTLN members what they think about this. More often than not, outdoor TVs are showing some kind of sport, but sometimes they are tuned in to music channels, or other entertainment. Putting to one side the legalities of showing Sky Sport, and other similar UK channels abroad, and any local by-laws, what is your view on whether it is reasonable and acceptable for television programmes to be shown on the streets. For the purposes of this poll, we are not talking about TV shown inside bars and restaurants. Are you relaxed about it? Do you think people have a right to sit outside in hot weather, and enjoy watching something they are interested in? Is it just a bit of harmless fun? Or do you believe that it is intrusive, and an imposition on others? Is it unfair and selfish to turn up the volume, and fill the streets with the sounds of a cheering and chanting football fans, or other sounds? Take part in our poll, and let's see what the consensus is on this. KTLN members who are logged in, can see this poll on the right hand side of our home page. Here is the question, and your voting options. Choose the one which best reflects your views. What is your opinion of TV on the streets of Kalkan town?
