How fab to check out the web cams - one night I just feasted on the moonlit sea over Kalamar Bay where we have our villa, and just dreamt of being there. Kalkan is therapy for the soul!

We also have a brilliant rainbow to show you. The pictures below are taken from the vantage point of KTLN HQ, about 180 metres above sea level, on the mountain-side. The following 8 photos were taken at 1 minute intervals at around 6pm local time, yesterday (Tuesday). They show the gathering rainstorm, as it heads into Kalkan Bay.
And the next photo was taken today, (Wednesday) morning, as the sun tried to break through the grey skies above Kalkan.
Below, is a panorama shot showing a complete arc of the same rainbow, stretching from close to the main school, up to Akbel.
And finally, whilst we are bringing you Kalkan rainbows, we thought we would share the following image, which was taken by KTLN member, Dr Cem Tolunay, on his iPhone, back in April 2011. Quite a sight!
According to the KTLN weather forecast, today is the day things get better. It should be wall to wall sunshine by Thursday. Inşallah.

It's not as if those of you reading this in the UK don't know what rain looks like, but these KTLN photos show what it looks like in Kalkan.
