Not only that, the Turkish Energy Minister, Taner Yıldız, is suggesting that the working day could start at 6am or 7am, as this will save energy. Obviously, this would mean people finishing work earlier. The Hurriyet Daily News online reports that Minister Yıldız has advised people to go to bed earlier, so that they can start work earlier, shortly after sunrise. That makes it lighter in the morning, as you wake, but it will get darker earlier in the evening. So make the most of your Sundays - soon, it may be your only day off!
