Performance postponed until Saturday:

As a mark of respect for those people killed in terrorist attacks in the east of Turkey, tonight's performance has been cancelled.  It will now take place on Saturday evening at 8pm.

A Dutch theatre group returns to Kalkan this week.

Nine players are teaming up with six members of Yeşilköy Theatre Group, to put on a play called 'Ali & Ayşe's Love Story' - a gentle, romantic comedy.

The performance, at the school amphitheatre, is on Saturday 22nd October and begins at 8pm.  It is expected to last about 45 minutes.

The evening will be introduced by Hüseyin Kayır, from Guru's Place restaurant, on the Kaş road, who will provide a brief explanation of the play, in English.

There will also be a performance on Friday 21st October, at the home of the Yeşilköy Theatre Group. 

Kalkan regulars may know that this is the fifth time that this Dutch group have performed in the town.  The first performance in 2006 was at the Mediteran Hotel, but they have also performed behind Kalkan Beach.

These people have come a long way to work with local people, and bring you these performances, so why not go along - support them and enjoy the thrill of live theatre in Kalkan.
