Update: Road now re-opened. The D400 road to Dalaman airport has seen major roadworks over the last year, as significant stretches of dual carriageway are developed.

Currently, there is a diversion in place just after Göcek tunnel (on the side nearest to the airport).  There are diversion signs that take you through Dalaman town.

It's the old, winding road that used to be taken years ago.  It does not add too much time on to your journey - maybe 5 minutes.

We have not been able to find out when the D400 road will reopen, but for now, watch out for the diversion signs, just after the tunnel.  Update: Road now re-opened.

If you are driving from the airport, you must turn right into Dalaman town, and follow the signs for Fethiye.
