Sea KayakingKalkan Bay and Kalamar Bay are very popular with many people who love to splash around, and cool down, in the summer months.

But although the day trip boats, jet skis and speed boats come out of the water in November, you can still enjoy the Mediterranean Sea, out of season.

Kalkan Sea Kayaking, in Kalamar Bay has reminded us that providing the weather is OK, you can take out a sea kayak.  They can even provide you with tuition if you have never tried it before.

They supply all the kit, and safety equipment.  All you need to do is turn up.

Or simply take the plunge
Alternatively, the sea is still fine for swimming.  Chris Davies and Joules Garrod, who recently swam from Mouse Island to Kalkan Beach, are hoping to set up a swimming group - just for fun, going at a leisurely pace.

The plan is to meet up every Tuesday and Thursday at 09.00 down at the Kalkan Dive Centre, at Kalamar Beach Club.

If you are interested, or would like to know more, you can contact Chris or Joules by clicking on this link: Contact Chris & Jules.
