The main reason [for joining] is that since I have been in Kalkan (14 years), I have for the first time good information about what is happening in Kalkan.

Kalkan resident, and fitness fanatic, Vivienne, is about to begin Zumba and Pilates classes. They will be at 11am on Thursday mornings, starting on 1st December 2011, at Chillies restaurant, just off Kalamar Road. The first class will be an introduction to Zumba and Pilates, and progression will be dependent on how the participants want the classes to develop.
For the Pilates element of the class you will also need a mat to lie on. (Also useful for you to collapse on, after the Zumba class). Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance fitness regime - it's a bit like Strictly Come Dancing on amphetamines and Red Bull. Pilates is a body conditioning routine, which develops flexibility and strength. Why not give it a go? We're sure Vivienne will break you in gently.

Let's get ready to Zumba!
All are welcome, and the classes are free of charge. Participants should wear comfortable clothing - e.g. jogging bottoms and trainers.
