I've been missing Kalkan since my visit 3 years ago, and thanks to the people behind this amazing website, I feel like I'm there once again!

ShareMembership at KTLN continues to grow. After only two months, we have more than 700 members. Once again, over half a million web pages were viewed in the month of May - slightly ahead of the number of pages viewed in April. People in over 50 countries are taking a look at our website. Around 67% of people who view KTLN are in the UK, with 27% in Turkey. We are especially delighted to see the number of new Turkish members joining us. Everyone is welcome. Hoşgeldiniz. If you want to see how many guests and registered members are looking at KTLN at the same time as you, take a look at the Who's Online figures on the KTLN home page, towards the bottom of the left hand menu column. Don't be surprised if you see more than 100 people doing exactly the same as you! You may like to know that the KTLN server gets most hits between 1pm and 2pm. We assume that this is when people are having a cheese and tomato* sandwich at their desks, with their thoughts turning to Kalkan! The busiest day last month was Tuesday 5th May - the first day back at work after the bank holiday. But as we have said before, it's not just about the numbers. At KTLN our focus is on bringing you quality content - local news, features and information. And we are always thinking of new things that may be of interest to you. Watch out for an announcement later this week telling you about some new features you can look forward to. Don't forget, it's good to share, so spread the word about Kalkan Turkish Local News. * As a truly independent and impartial website, we should point out that other sandwich fillings are available.Share |
