Kalkan Jandarma were soon on the trail of burglars who broke in to the Pınar Büfe hut, behind Kalkan beach, late on Thursday night.

The inept trio broke in through a window, and took a small amount of loose change.

However, one of the burglars managed to cut himself on the glass, leaving a trail of blood.

The Jandarma contacted a local doctor to ask if anyone had received treatment, and sure enough, someone had sought medical attention for a cut arm.

The man, originally from south east Turkey, but currently residing in Kalkan, was soon located and taken to the Jandarma station, where he admitted the crime.

The Jandarma Chief's powers of persuasion, succeeded in eliciting the names of two others, who also took part in the burglary.

All three, will appear in court, in Kaş.
