A problem with the main water pipe near Çayköy requires fixing, and the supply will have to be turned off, to allow workmen to undertake repairs. Whilst the whole of Kalkan is at risk of an outage, because it is winter, and demand is relatively low, some areas may find that there is enough water already in the pipes to keep the taps running. However, it is possible that some taps will run dry.Things should be back to normal by the weekend.

Water Alert: Kalkan Belediye has confirmed that water supplies may be disrupted for 3 days, starting on Wednesday 18th January.
