We have decided to make the KTLN Business Directory available to everyone, rather than just KTLN members. 

Why are we doing this?  Read on.

The reason for this is that we are enhancing the content and allowing businesses in Kalkan to tell us more about themselves.  Currently, the KTLN Business Directory tells you what a business does, where it is, a phone number, and where we have it, a website address.  It's short and sweet, but from everything else we have seen, we reckon it's the most comprehensive and up to date directory in Kalkan.

We also show a small photograph for some but not all businesses - the process of uploading all of the photos is taking more time than we envisaged.  Sorry!

However, from now on, we will allow businesses to  provide more information on their Business Directory page, including things such as an email address, mobile phone number, photographs and other interesting details about what goods or services they provide.  Any business can approach KTLN to enhance their details.  In return, all we ask is for a minimum donation towards The KTLN Trust.  If you wish to upgrade your Business Directory entry, get in touch with KTLN using the Contact Us tab at the top of the page. 

Just to reiterate, 100% of all Business Directory donations go to The KTLN Trust, which is a UK based fund, and not towards the running of the website. Click here for more details about The KTLN Trust.

So, given that businesses will be making this donation, (and we know from research that there is demand for this out there), it is only fair that we make the KTLN Business Directory accessible to the widest potential audience.  Hence this change.

However, there are still good reasons for you to register as a KTLN member, if you have not already done so.  For a start, it's completely free.  And you get lots of great features, including the Kalkan Webcam, the KTLN interactive map of Kalkan, Day in the Life profiles of Kalkan people, plus lots of up to date information in our Knowledge Bank.
