Whilst they escaped the inferno, the car and all its contents were totally destroyed. The young couple got married just three days ago and were on their honeymoon. Many local Turkish people came to their assistance and provided what help they could. The local fire engines also turned out. Sadly, for these newlyweds, their honeymoon has come to an abrupt end and they will soon be taking bus back to Ankara.

A young couple from Ankara had a lucky escape this afternoon, Tuesday 14th July, when their car overheated and burst into flames, on Kaş Road, not far from the Kelebek furniture shop.
