Share On 18th April KTLN reported that with effect from Monday 20th April 2009, new security restrictions were coming into force at Turkish airports, bringing them into line with many other countries, including the UK. In fact for some reason, these changes, which were announced on Turkish airport websites, including the Dalaman airport website, were not implemented. Well now they are about to be. There are new signs at Dalaman airport advising passengers that these security requirements will now be implemented on Saturday 1st August 2009. The new restrictions limit the amount of liquids, aerosols and gels that you can take on board the plane in your hand luggage.
