As promised, we are publishing details of the money raised so far for The KTLN Trust - a UK based fund established for the benefit of good causes in Kalkan.

A brief summary of where we are is given below.  All figures here are shown in GBP, unless otherwise stated.

We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to The KTLN Trust. Details of how to donate are shown below.

Personal donations received = £2,518.35

Overall total income for The KTLN Trust = £2,765.72

Payments made so far

Kalkander Association 3,000 TL (at a rate of 2.5 = £1,200)

Other payments we are committed to make

Kalkan First School - laptop and projector, approximately 2,000 TL (at a rate of 2.5 = £800)

There were a number of one off costs incurred in establishing the KTLN website.  From now on, our running costs will be fairly modest.  So we have decided that in future we will cover these routine running costs from our Google Ad income stream alone.

This means that next year, when we invite subscriptions for our banner adverts, 100% of that income will be donated to The KTLN Trust.
