A new tea garden, the Pınar Büfe, opened behind Kalkan Beach (just next to playground) at the weekend.

The Kalkander Association is managing it on behalf of the Belediye and any profits made will be spent on the education of children and other social activities in Kalkan.

This new establishment is in a great location and serves a variety of hot and cold drinks, ice creams and snacks.

The Kalkan Belediye has taken its time in relaunching the old cafe.  However, given previous issues with the way the old cafe was operated, it was essential to get things set up correctly, and that is what has now been done.  A little late in the season perhaps, but why not give it a try if you are coming to Kalkan.
