With the new school term rapidly approaching (children return to school on 24th September), Kalkan First School is having a bit of a makeover.

Kalkan Turkish Local News called round to check out the new computer projector, bought by The KTLN Trust, from money donated by some of you - more of that in tomorrow's local news.

We found painters at work inside and outside the school.  The exterior is being painted mostly blue, with some white bits.

Having browsed the Dulux colour charts (other paint charts are available), the KTLN painting correspondent thinks it may be Blue Diamond, Crystal Surprise, or Javan Dawn.

However, given that it is highly unlikely to be Dulux paint, some of us are leaning towards duck egg blue.

For the hundreds of Kalkan property owners who have got helpful guides for rental guests, which refer to the landmark of "the green school", you may wish to get the Tipex out (other correction fluids are available), and insert the new colour.  You decide what it is - see photo below.
