Here comes another new feature from Kalkan Turkish Local News, which we hope you will like.

In response to suggestions from KTLN members we are now publishing 'live' buying rates for pounds and euros, as offered in Kalkan town.

We have an agreement with our friends at Yardan Jewellery and also Infinity Jewellers, that they will provide KTLN with the up to date rates they are offering, to buy sterling and euros.

This takes the guess work out of deciding where to change your currency, as you will have a pretty good idea of what is on offer in town.

Please note that there are other businesses in town that exchange currency, and more often than not, the rates on offer are pretty close, if not identical.

Also, please be assured that the existing mid-rates shown on the left hand side of our home page will remain. They will reflect the trend in exchange rate movements, and relate more to rates applicable to banking transactions.
