The Kalkander Association would like to invite everyone to come along to the Pinar Büfe at 6pm tonight, Thursday 8th October, where the recently elected chairman, Ali Ihsan Benli, will tell people about some of the things they have been doing recently, and also their plans for the coming year.

The Kalkan Derneği Pilav Günü (Kalkander Rice Day), is a traditional way of getting people together, so that they can find out more about the work of the association.

Rice and ayran will be provided free of charge.

You may recall that Kalkan Turkish Local News has supported the work of the Kalkander Association, through The KTLN Trust.  A sum of 3,000TL was recently donated to help with their work in supporting local children with their educational needs.
