KTLN brings you Kalkan webcam No 3 PDF Print E-mail

ShareKalamar Bay webcamKalkan Turkish Local News is pleased to announce that webcam No 3 is now up and running, showing great views of Kalamar Bay.

The image shows the sky, Mouse and Snake islands, the small bays around Kalamar, and a number of buildings close to the sea.  You can see some construction work on the right hand side of the image.

During the day you can see boats moving to and fro across the bay.  This camera also picks up wonderful sunrises and sunsets.

At the top of the image, there is a dark section.  This is an overhanging balcony, under which the webcam is located.  We have tried to minimise this area as much as possible.

You will also notice that the bottom right corner of the image is fuzzy.  This is to ensure the privacy of neighbours, on their roof terrace.

We would like to thank Peter and Mary of Kalamar Dream Villa, who are hosting this webcam.

If you want to see our webcams, you must be registered as a member of KTLN.  To create an account, click here.  Membership is free.

As with all our webcams, we can only bring you the images if we have a power supply and a good ADSL (broadband) connection.  From time to time these can fail, due to circumstances beyond our control.

When the image is not refreshed for more than one hour, the admin team is notified, so that we can look into the problem.

Finally, we have camera No 4 configured, and ready to go.  All we need is a good location.  We thought somewhere in the town centre would be good.  What do you think?  Tell us through the Contact Us tab, (not the KTLN Helpdesk please).

Remember, we need somewhere that will have a power supply and ADSL connection that works 24 x 7, all year round.  It needs to be somewhere that will give a great view, but will not invade anyones privacy - in other words, you should not be able to identify specific individuals.
