The news today has got to be the weather. 

The storm clouds have been gathering all day, and this evening (Monday) we have had a spectacular display of lightning, with accompanying bursts of thunder.  A clap of thunder has just cracked directly over KTLN HQ, making the villa shake.  

The power keeps tripping, which is knocking off the Kalkan Bay webcam.  Sorry.  Before we had a break in the images, (at 16.46), you can see from the photo below that Mouse & Snake were completely lost in the rain - as viewed from our webcam in Kızıltaş.

For those who have come to Kalkan on half term holiday it's not great, and the roof top restaurants have been washed out this evening.

The Accuweather forecast has been spot on today.  Unfortunately, it's not great for the rest of the week either.

Update on Tuesday morning: Storms continued overnight and we still have rain, thunder and lightning this morning.  Great dog walking weather!
